The National University Hospital Dental Centre is an ultra-modern dental facility with 14 fully equipped and ergonomically designed dental surgeries. Highly motivated and qualified professional staff assisted by dedicated chairside assistants fluent and efficient in the delivery of four-handed dental practice will take care of your dental needs in a relaxed, friendly and clean environment. The Dental Centre is a one-stop service that provides comprehensive dental care for the whole family. The range of services available is considerably the most complete and comprehensive in the country and the region. Our patients, comprising of locals, residents and foreigners, will be advised on the best options available for their dental needs. 
In addition to basic dental procedures, which are provided by our very competent general dental practitioners, our patients are referred when necessary for more complex and tertiary level care. This will then be provided by our full complement of dental specialists. All these services are supported by over 30 professional staff of which 26 work within their areas of specialty. Our patients will frequently be inter-referred amongst the various specialties and this gives them the benefit of a multi-disciplinary consultation in one sitting. "Universal Precautions" have been enforced throughout the Centre ever since the late '80s and we guarantee that all our instruments undergo the strictest sterilisation procedures before they are used. Our instruments and handpieces are steam-autoclaved between every patient. Disposable masks, gloves and other disposable items are used whenever possible to prevent any transmission of disease. A very advanced Dental Sterile Supplies Unit (DSSU) in the centre makes this possible. At NUH Dental Centre we understand that our relationship must be based on trust ... between you, your dentist and our staff. We care for you and want you and your family to receive the best care possible. Our staff is trained to recognise your problems and refer you to the appropriate specialists when necessary. As our patient, you are important to us. NUH Dental Centre provides convenient dentistry in an environment designed to complement your personal schedule. Our reception staff are available during the practice hours to help you with your enquiries and book appointments for you. Enquiries can be dealt with on the telephone, by fax or by visiting the centre directly.
If you need to change your appointment, please give us 24 hours notice so that someone else can be scheduled. BECAUSE WE CARE Emergency treatment ... From time to time, you may need to see a Dentist immediately. If you have an emergency, walk right into our centre. There will be a Dental Officer who is on stand-by to attend to you. For after office hours, Dental Officers and Consultants who are on call provide the emergency services. Emergency Care refers to treatment of dental emergencies including oral swelling, bleeding and acute pain, available 24 hours.
